I’ve been diving deeper into mobile development, starting with native iOS and Android projects and continuing to explore React Native. The screens you see here are examples of native iOS work, and I’ll be updating this page with new React Native builds as I expand my skill set. Mobile and design evolve quickly—especially with the rise of AI—but while I enjoy experimenting with new tools and workflows, I believe in mastering the fundamentals first. For me, AI is best used as an enhancer of knowledge and capability, not as a substitute.
Over the years, I’ve challenged myself through online bootcamps and independent projects, and I’ve become especially interested in the end-to-end mobile design process: from initial concept, to designing interfaces, to actually building and testing applications. This hands-on development experience gives me a high-level perspective of how design decisions translate into code, and how engineering needs shape the final product.
My background in front-end development has strengthened my ability to support both design and research initiatives that require technical fluency. By staying hands-on with code, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how designs are built, what developers need during handoff, and how cross-functional collaboration can be optimized.
This technical perspective allows me to bridge the gap between design and engineering—ensuring that creative vision aligns with implementation. It also enables me to anticipate challenges earlier in the process, guide smoother workflows, and foster more effective collaboration across teams. The result is design work that not only looks and feels right for users, but also integrates seamlessly into engineering pipelines, creating outcomes that are both impactful and sustainable.
